Peacock West Restaurant

I was looking forward to take out for my 84 year old father who eats very little and wanted Chinese food on Father's Day so I called Peacock West.The rating I read on the net were mostly 5 stars. The woman who took my order was very friendly and understandable. I ordered 4 egg rolls and 4 Seasons. When I served the egg rolls I was embarrassed and felt bad for my dad. They were huge. The insides were very stringy and hard to chew.I almost chocked on it when I swallowed. The taste wasn't that great either. Several days later I called to complain and got a man. He told me that these egg rolls were supposed to be stringy and that was normal. I told him I had better egg rolls from a box at a grocery store and expected more from a Chinese restaurant. All he said was he was sorry. He did not offer a replacement or reimbursement as most places do when you complain. Needless to say I will not be going there again.

I've been going here for years. I love this place. The food, price and service is always really good.

You walk in and are greeted with a smiling face. The service is fast and the food is really good. Also, the prices are very reasonable.
